How do you like my new Valve covers for my 383 stroker?
(Preview)
My 383 stroker came with stock chrome valve covers which I really didn't care for. With the Dart Pro 1 Aluminum heads, it was very hard to find valve covers that would fit as the rails or seating area on the heads are very tall. I have a 9" brake booster that was just touching the 2 1/2" tall valve...

Whos skipping Corvette Funfest this Year?
(Preview)
Im skipping the Corvette FunFest this Year. The owner Mike Yeagar wants to now charge us 25 dollars to park our Corvettes. By the time you add up the price of gas, a hotel room, and food plus an extra 25 dollars it just gets too expensive. Mike Yeagar has become a millionaire off of his customers buying his...

(Preview)
I finally got a chance to drive my '67 Coupe for the first time this year this past Sunday. Felt great to drive but within maybe 8 miles of driving while driving into my hometown someone who is sitting at a stop street decided to pull out right in front of me. Now there was someone a pretty good distance in...

Looking to improve ride, QA-1 or Coil-over ?
(Preview)
Ok, I still don't care for the buckboard ride on my 65 coupe. Currently has a small block motor, VB&P 330# rear composite spring with Bilstein Sport shocks. I have tried the VB&P KYB special rear shocks and the Bilstein HDs but they were not as good as the Sports. It seems like too much bounce in t...

Need help on an electrical problem....can anyone help?
(Preview)
Ok, I have Vintage A/C and a Holley Idle solenoid that works fine with 12 Volts. Problem is I can't get the 12 volts from either the compressor or the blower switch that turns the A/C system on. Both only are putting out 10 volts at idle. I haven't checked any other electrical parts. Any ideas? I am a total i...

Foil Insulation....65 coupe
(Preview)
I can feel heat coming from the firewall but not from any of the vents. So, I am thinking there is little insulation or old cardboard which is not doing the job of insulating the engine heat. I have side pipes so it is not coming from the floor. My thought is to remove that cardboard like stuff from the firew...

65-66 big block hood

Anyone close to Edison, NJ that would like to look at a hand laid hood for me? The guy has it for sale on Ebay and I could use a BB hood for extra clearance for my 383 stroker motor. No big deal so I would not want anyone to go out of their way. Thanks!

I have 2 1/2" ramshorns with Allen sidepipes. I saw in a catalog there are donut seals used for undercar pipes. Do they also use them for sidepipes? What are they used for? My sidepipes never had them when I bought my 65 coupe. Any information would be appreciated! Thanks
